Keep your hands moving.

+ Video Add MP4/MOV as a linked V/A pair, or extract its audio only

Nothing is stored on this device. Export to keep your edit

The monitor and video export show the video under the playhead; where videos overlap, the higher track (V2 over V1) is shown

⌘ Z Undo the last edit

⌘ ⇧ Z Redo the last edit

⌘/Ctrl A Select every unlocked clip

V Selection tool — drag an empty area to box-select multiple clips

Only highlighted clips move together; dragging one unselected segment moves that segment alone

Moving clips magnetically snaps their starts and ends together; drag farther through the guide to overwrite and trim the clip beneath

Drag a multi-clip selection onto another audio track to move it there; hold Option/Alt or Command while dragging to copy instead

Option/Alt or ⌘ Command + drag Copy the clip or selected clip group while leaving every original in place

Ctrl while already dragging Temporarily bypass magnetic clip snapping

Shift, ⌘, or Ctrl + click Select or deselect multiple clips

Shift + click A1/A2 track names Add or remove every unlocked clip on those tracks

Drag any highlighted clip to move the complete multi-track selection together

H Hand tool — drag to pan; drag near the playhead to move it

Click an A1/A2 track label to select the whole unlocked track

Use the lock beside a track name to completely freeze or unlock that track

Locking V1 or its audio track unlinks them, so the unlocked part moves on its own; unlocking links them again if they are still in sync

Double-click the volume slider to reset the selected clips to 0 dB

Scroll up over an A1/A2 name to make that track taller; scroll down to make it compact

Drag the divider above the timeline to make the preview or timeline larger

The playhead automatically snaps to nearby clip starts and ends; hold Option/Alt to bypass it

After removing pauses, drag either edge of any resulting segment outward to reveal its original recording again

Double-click a segment edge to restore that entire side to the original source boundary

Delete / Backspace Delete every highlighted clip and close its gap

Esc Clear clip selection

C Pause and start a cut at the playhead; press C again later in the same clip to remove the range and join both sides

⌘/Ctrl/Option + scroll Zoom around the mouse pointer, independently of the playhead

Shift + scroll Pan the zoomed timeline left or right

Space Preview or pause every stored project cut, including unselected clips

Use 1× to cycle preview speed

A Previous stored pause in the project

S Next stored pause in the project

← Jump to the first audio clip; → jump to the last audio clip’s end. The zoomed timeline follows the playhead.

R Restart cut preview

\ Fit the edited timeline in view

⌘/Ctrl ⇧ G Ungroup the selected video from its audio so either part can move separately; ⌘/Ctrl G group them again
